I just bought an espresso machine and it's pretty expensive. My parents want me to keep it in my room and only bring it into the kitchen of Clara Dickson Hall when I use it. However, that seems like a pain in the neck. I want to just leave it in the kitchen. Should I be concerned of others stealing it or others breaking it?

how big is this machine? i think an espresso machine is a little excessive…you might not even be near the kitchen (room wise)

you can always use your BRB to purchase espresso shots :)

nope, I am bringing my espresso machine. I bought it so I would not have to use all my BRB on coffee. It is only a little bigger than a coffee machine.

i’m not sure how much steam your particular machine creates but i was able to use a coffee maker (12 cup) in my high rise room…

well, i usually just drink espresso straight. I don’t typically use the frother for lattes or cappuccinos

whats your room # lol

that might help determine how close to a kitchen you are (no stalker)

You might be able to just use it in your room?

just use it in your room, especially if it’s a Nespresso or takes ESE pods.

doing the full grind and tamper, though, might be a little odd and tricky in a small room.

I don’t see why you couldn’t use it in your room, just get plastic liners for your trashcan so you can empty the grinds into it, and pour out water waste in the bathroom. Use a cup or plastic bottle to bring water from the nearest water fountain to refill the water tank.
