I'm looking into applying to Claremont McKenna for their PPE program. However, I'm also interested in maybe majoring in Art History. Sadly, AH isn't offered by CMK but I heard somewhere that it is possible to cross-register and double major in IR at CMK and another major at, say, Pomona. Is this true? I looked on both schools' websites and there's no official word.

My understanding is that if a the Claremont school you are attending doesn't have a major, but another one does, you can APPLY to that other school to become part of that major. One gal I heard talk last year was a Scripps students, but majoring in Accounting at CMK. If the school you are attending has the major, however, you cannot major in the same subject at another school.

FYI, it's CMC for Claremont McKenna College, not CMK :-)
