Clark Scholars 2013?

I like you, 3chainz

^ LOL hhahahh

I need to find a summer job if this doesn’t work out :P

Sigh, another week without word from them…hopefully next week since it’ll actually be “late April”

Whatever it is anyone who gets to go to this program needs to let Dr. SanFran know that this is insane to wait till end of April for the decisions. I am not aware of any prestigious program waiting this long. Unless you are betting person you are not gonna give up other summer programs and just wait on this.

^Agreed. This is ridiculous…

Hang in there, almost time!

Hopefully results will come out this week?

Someone email Ms. Durham and ask. I don’t want to bother her anymore lol :P

I did ask about a week ago. The only answer was “late April, early May”, the same as what the website put.

Awesome. So I guess definitely sometime in the next two weeks. Anyone get accepted to anything else by now?

I got accepted into the Young Scholars Program at FSU. It’s a free program and I get to do research and attend some pretty cool classes. I still really want to go to Clark Scholars though.

Great job! :)

Thank you!

Gonna contact my research mentor here in Columbus for a summer position >___> this is ridiculous. Almost every single other prestigious program has had their people commit already.

“Late April early May” means NEXT WEEK exactly. (Sigh!!!)

Or, it could still be three weeks until they come out…

Yeah, I’ve already submitted my deposit to HSHSP. I don’t know why Clark is taking so long; its application was due over a month before HSHSP’s.

I think the only other prestigious program that hasn’t released decisions yet is SAMS at Carnegie Mellon University, but that’s because their deadline was April 1st. But even then, decisions are coming in early May. By the way, has anyone else applied to that? I looked at the program description and schedule, and it seems kind of basic. It has SAT Prep and Differential Calculus on there, which makes me wonder if it’s so prestigious after all… Any thoughts? On the off chance that I get accepted to both, which one should I go to?

^^ I think Clark Scholars
