<p>Don’t cry, yet. If the email asks for a reply by the 22nd, then that means that after that date, Clark will go to the “waiting list,” and contact more applicants, until all of their slots are filled. Just be patient. =)</p>

<p>I’m curious how many semi-finalists they chose. It doesn’t make sense to have 30 or so semi-finalists while the yielding rate is close to 100%…I hope everyone in the semi-finalist group gets in!</p>

<p>Nope, I haven’t heard back. I’m very confused about this whole semi-finalist thing - I don’t believe they did it last year.</p>
<p>I got nada. I’ve been trying to stop myself from over-analyzing the whole situation. There really is nothing for me to judge this on besides rampant speculation.</p>

<p>Dr. San Francisco just sent me an email not too long ago, and apparently they’ve matched a mentor to me and want to know if I’m still interested so they can send. I think this means I’m in (in which case I’m EXCITED!!!), but I’ll be careful not to get too excited just in case it doesn’t.</p>

<p>Anybody have any thoughts on this? How good is this program anyway? (getting an intel or whatever is out of the quesiton, i’m a senior right now)</p>
<p>It’s a fairly good program. I haven’t heard anything bad about it, and the research is likely on par or better than most other research programs. I’ve even seen it compared favorably with RSI, so…yeah. It’s pretty cool. Much smaller, though.</p>
