Clarkson University Transfer Decisions

I applied to Clarkson for transfer admission around February 12th and it is now March 18th and I still haven't heard anything, should I be worried? Should I contact them? On the letter they sent me acknowledging my application it said that admissions decisions would typically be communicated 2 weeks after applying, but it has been longer than that. How are the decisions communicated? By letter or online?

Also does anyone know what type of scholarships/aid they typically offer to transfers? Both my parents are unemployed.

I am not familiar with Clarkson’s procedures but I would contact them tomorrow. They might be missing some documents which is causing them to delay your decision.

My name is Trish Dobbs and I am the Director of Admission at Clarkson University. If you would like to contact our office at 315-268-2125 or email me directly: tdobbs@clarkson.edu, I’m sure we can provide you an answer to why an admission decision has not yet been made.

I look forward to chatting with you!
