If I stay at my current school (just got ranked 25th by that newsweek thingie):

IB Math Methods 2 HL
IB Biology
IB English III
IB Spanish IV
IB History Americas
IB Theory of Knowledge
IB Japanese I
AP Environmental Science

Or if I go to NCSSM (around 30th in the nation, not on the newsweek rankings cuz its a public school with entry requirements):

AP Calc AB/BC and Calc III
American Studies and AP USH
AP Chem
AP Environ. Sci.
Advanced Spanish
Advanced Mathematical Problem Solving
Wind Ensemble
Pep Band
Self Study: AP Physics C, AP Comp Sci AB, and AP Psychology

Visirale, what are you talking about? I heard Chem was easy as heck! SL has to be insanely easy. You might as well do HL for credit!
You are the crazy one for doing math HL!!

IB English HL :(
IB Spanish 4 SL (I'm fighting for HL)
IB History of Americas HL
IB MathMethods SL
IB Physics SL
IB Computer Science HL (fighting for SL)
AP Gov't
AP Economics (For the AP courses, I might replace th em with Academic Dec.)

IB Math HL
IB Chemistry HL
IB English HL
IB History SL
IB French A2 SL
IB Art SL
Journalism
Theory of Knowledge

At my school, math is known as the most difficult HL, and chem as the most work-intensive. I don't know how I'm going to do it. Both teachers are excellent, though.

Next year, I'm taking:
AP Language & Composition
AP U.S. History II
AP Spanish V
AP Biology
Trigonometry/Analytic Geometry
Gym/Health (mandatory)
Psychology
Study hall
Debate (If it can be fit into my schedule, I'll have it in place of my study hall one half of the year)

So these IB classes you're all talking about...Why do your schools have such advanced courses? Do they have AP or Honors courses?

My school is an all-IB school, meaning that all students complete the IB Diploma, most of them bilingual (French or Spanish). It's an international school, and it's designed to be compatible with IB schools all over the world for expats and diplomat kids who move around a lot. There are no AP or Honors courses.

My school has IB courses/AP courses/honors courses

IB isn't that much harder than AP, actually I think the structure of IB makes the classes a little bit easier because it is so organized. AP's can be disorganized. IB is only a littler harder in the workload given.

School I'm going to next year will have college level courses beyond AP/AP courses/and honors

It's not considered "better" just because you have all IB or AP classes, and no electives, even IF you might say you do them at another time.

Colleges don't want you to live through hell in highschool, but rather that you budgeted your time, enjoyed things with your school peers with activities, and worked together with others.

To me, a schedule just filled with academics isn't anything impressive, just overload. If anyone wanted to they could fill there schedule up with all core subjects, but I think colleges like it MUCH better to see that you found your way through high school balancing leisure and work.

AP Language
AP Psychology
AP Chemistry
AP Physics B
Pre-Calc Honors
US History
Spanish 3
*might do Symphonic Orchestra to continue my music trend in HS. Auditions this Friday...

IB English HL
IB Environmental Systems SL (yesss, easy science)
AP Calc BC (leading to HL Math)
IB European History HL
IB/AP French V (may postpone AP until senior year.... We'll see)
Latin III (for Latin SL)
band
PE / Theory of Knowledge

Full IB. I play bass guitar in jazz band at at church. In marching band I play keyboard instruments.. and mainly vibraphone. I'm the pit section leader... I play football, soccer, and lacrosse. That's sports non-stop all year... even over the summer. It's a lot of work, but it's also a ton of fun.

Major props to all of you, very impressive!!!...Wow, ok I always thought I was doing well especially considering my top 10 ranking at my school, but now I am feeling REALLY puny!!! Since I am already enrolled in two schools (one an 'advanced' Academy for Science and Health), and APs don't seem to be worth as much after looking at what some of you are working on, can anyone offer ideas for making my schedule more impressive like some of yours?....

AP Chem
AP English III
AP US History
AP Calculus AB
PAP Physics
French II
PE

Okay, please someone tell me what it is with "IB"...You explained what it was, but why does your school offer these courses? Mine doesn't...Mine only has AV (sp. ed., basically), CP, Honors, and AP...

In my school, there are no honors or ap courses for history or english. INnscience you can only take an AP after having completed BIO PHYS then CHEM, which means you can only take an AP in senior year. There are also no honors sciences below the AP level, but the better students take physics in sophomore year and chem in junior year,

I will be taking

1)AP Spanish
2)AP Computer Science
3)Honors pre-calc (i can take the AB exam if i want, but senior year, honors goes to BC, so i will prob just take the BC senior year.)
4)US History (some students take the AP. I am good at history but ive always been advised against it, so i prob won't take the AP.)
5)Chemistry (there was no way i could take an AP this year, but next year i will take AP CHem and AP Physics C)
6)English 11 (all juniors take this class.)
7)Ceramics ( If it fits into my schedule i will take take it. I liked it last year, and i feel it is important to also have an art.)
