Today I was moved to the top of the Evansville wait-list (performance BFA). I was wondering if any guys who had been accepted, had decided not to take the offer?</p>

<p>Our D decided not to accept Evansville’s offer – though she was VERY impressed with the program and I REALLY wanted to visit her in the spectacular English Manor House – but she notified them in December so I’m afraid that won’t will help you. </p>
<p>I’m not sure if mybroadwaybaby’s D has made a final choice yet?</p>

<p>Also, I was wondering what everyone thought about Emerson? I haven’t visited and I am not sure if I should visit or if I should count on going to UCLA over it because it is more prestigious.</p>

<li><p>jsaundo, I’d recommend visiting. I know they have a VERY highly respected program, and while I don’t know too much about the specifics between each school, you may find out that you simply LOVE the school/teachers/classes/etc. In my case, when I was planning to apply/audition for schools, UCLA was high up on my list. But then I went to visit there, and I just felt like it wasn’t the place for me. I ended up taking it off my schools list entirely. I’m not saying one program is better than the other (I didn’t apply to Emerson either), I’m just saying if you are able to visit, I think it would be a really good idea.</p></li>
