school starts in 10 hours...

i have a ton of homework.. and my first English Test and i've heard terrible things about her tests.. Im scared!

Ditto LazyAznBoy.

Hello fellow Juniors! I thought I was the only one who felt like a crazy person after registering and seeing my official schedule (which is no where as bad as some of you people! How do you even self-study APs?) I start school on Thursday and I have yet to finish my summer homework. I still think that it hasn't sunk in. I'm taking 0-7 next year and it will suck. At least we can all be miserable together!

In 24 hours I will be staring into the face of the most evil teacher in the entire world o_O

^same
except make that 20 hours

i start school friday :( uhck.

School started today and it's beginning to dawn on me just how rough it'll be.

6 IB Courses
SAT's
Student Council (have to organize volunteer opportunities and events in the school)
Seriously involved in Debate
Math Club
Reach for the Top
Violin
Karate
Work
STAND for Darfur
etc etc

zzz owned by myself

I actually have good grades so far so I'm happy.

I did raise my PSAT score on my practice from 136 (sophomore) to 156 (now). I was hoping for 180+, but now when I think about it, that's pretty good for just ACT prep and in real life that's jumping 200 points. Besides where I live, no one cares about the SAT. It's all about the ACT.

I'm doing 9 classes right now because I didn't finish two online classes over the summer.

I'm behind pace in some of my online classes.

My physics and calc teachers give me so much homework every night, but they never check it.

Oh, and I went from a 100% in ap human geo to a 61% because I missed one day of school (unexcused absence). She marks off almost a test grade just for every unexcused absence.

[/rant]

ugh! so much homework, even on the first week of school!

totally stressing guys. APUSH will kill me. Then Physics will stab me. Then I'll just be done'sored with the SATs.

Well, it's nice to see I'm not the only one who thinks junior year will be EXTREMELY stressful. I have two AP classes, might self-study two more (if I get the ok from my guidance counselor), I have to study for the PSAT next month, then study for the SATs and ACT. I also have to keep my 4.0 GPA, which is easier said than done when FST is already killing me! Ahh, it'll be a miracle if I make it out of junior year alive.

09er here.

yeah i got like a 3.4 at the highest last year. i have got to get my GPA up this year to even be considered for an out of state college. it sucks.
good luck everyone

ahhhhh... Olive_Tree, you are definitely not the only person who thinks junior year is stressful. In fact, I think we have as much, if not more, pressure than seniors.

btw @hannahms: thanks, best of luck to you to, and everyone else :)

Lowest grade so far is an 87 so I'm still alright for now.

My APUSH class is so. frickin. hard.

lowest grade so far is a 10............out of 10. only grade i had so far.

I totally agree, caligurl! I can't wait until I'm a senior; they have it so much easier than us.
