Mind games, I tell you. Mind games!

ughh i want the freaking letter already!

Someone’s probably already answered this, but does BC send letters and post decisions on Agora? Also, does anyone know the date they’re planning on sending out letters?

They only send out letters. It depends on where you live
I have heard that most east-coast folk get their letters on Friday and other regions of the country/international students get it next week

How does the letter look? I mean if it is good news is it a big envelope and bad news a small envelope?!?

It says by December 25 this year though, not by December 15. I doubt they will come this week.

I’ve heard if you’re admitted the envelope is big, and deferrals and rejections are regular. :(

So I guess you know before you even open it…

lucky for us Midwesterners, they havn’t stopped Saturday mail yet! I’m hoping for this Saturday.

I can’t find the post, but I read somewhere it’s 15th-25th? I’m not entirely sure.
Ah, I can feel knots in my stomach.

They say on Agora before the 25th, but in the years before they have been mailed aroundthe 15th so we can assume somewhere around the beginning of next week.

Welp, deferred from Georgetown…hoping for BC now. Anyone else in the same boat?

right there with ya…

@purpledogs The exact same thing for me!!!

Not in the same boat, but I know a lot of the kids that I went to a summer program with got deferred from Gtown. There’s always regular decision!

Haha glad to know I have company. And yes, there is regular, but I don’t think I’ll keep my hopes up…

@purpledogs, clevernickname, and busterbrown…
Same goes here. Georgetown was the first school I’ve heard from so now I’m completely paranoid that I won’t get into any! I’m also waiting to hear from Notre Dame. If ND and BC both defer/reject me, then I’m going to go into official panic mode…

I’m a volunteer in SAP and I remember being told when the letters would be sent out… it’s either the 17th or the 15th. so you probably wouldn’t get it until the day after that if you’re on the east coast.

^it would have to be the 15th. I don’t see why the admissions staff would want to have to come into work on a Saturday. If for some reason they couldnt get them out before then, they would just wait until monday. SO THIS MEANS that east coast will get them friday/saturday. midwest sat/monday and west monday/tuesday?

I wish they were more definitive about when they were sending them out!

Right there with you purpledogs. Rejection, I mean getting deferred, hurts a lot more than I imagined. Hoping for better results from BC.

Do you really think I would get it by Friday in Northern NJ? Coming all the way from Boston? I think Sat. or Mon. most likely…
