Class of 2012: Post your junior year schedules!

AP Computer Science
AP Physics B
AP US History
AP Calculus AB
AB English Language
Spanish III Honors
Marching Band/Jazz band

This is what I came up today (I’m constantly changing my mind lol):

AP Chemistry
AP Psychology
AP English Language
AP Art History (really looking forward to this class)
AP Statistics
Pre-Cal Honors
Spanish III Honors
English III Honors
Health/Driver’s Ed
Independent Research

Chances are that I’m probably going to change my mind a good 13464867465146 times - but so far, I’m pretty content with this schedule.

AP Calc AB
AP USH
AP Lang
AP Bio
AP Chem
AP Econ
AP Chinese

Advanced Calc (multivariate, etc)
AP Lang
APUSH
AP Bio
AP Econ (macro and micro combined)
AP Comp Sci A
AP French

Do you guys have any free periods? I was jw. My school only provides 2 AP courses for juniors

We’re not allowed free periods…there are “classes” such as “Teacher’s Aide” and stuff where it’s technically a free period, AKA devoid of any rigorous thinking and with work only when the teacher needs you.

AP Calculus BC
AP English Language
AP US History (Still debating between this and Honors…APUSH has so much more reading/writing and I still don’t know if I’m willing to put in the work for a subject that I know I won’t major in)
AP Chemistry
Orchestra
French

APUSH
Honors Math Analysis
AP English Lang
AP Art History
AP Bio
Chinese
Can one studies these from the books over the summer and have a considerably lighter workload during the school year?

AP Biology is completely self-studyable from Campbell’s Biology (which also incidentally prepares you for the USABO if you want to take that). I’m not sure what Honors Math Analysis entails, but if it’s just regular analysis I don’t see any reason why you can’t pick up a textbook over the summer and prepare. I don’t think studying the other classes over summer would be too feasible, though.

studying chinese is feasible, just spend 30 minutes a day reading/writing/listening/speaking

Man… you guys all have AP.
SOPHOMORES!
IB Chemistry HL
IB Math HL
IB English HL
IB History HL
IB Computer Science SL
AP Stat
Physics SOL

Self-Studying AP Physics C and Spanish

AP Biology
AP US History
AP Computer Science
AP Statistics
Honors Math Analysis
Honors English

AP US/VA History
AP English
Spanish IV
Latin II
Algebra II
Chemistry
Business Law

APUSH
French V
Pre-Calc
AP Lang
Honors Chem
Intro to Psych
Gym
And I need another elective or two that I’ll decide at the last second.

AP Chem
Honors Physics
Honors English
Honors French IV
Honors US2
Honors Pre-calculus

^That schedule is considered “suicide” at my school O_o

AP Psychology
AP American History
AP English
Honors Physics
Pre-Calc Regents
French (IV) Regents

AP Modern Euro
AP English III/IV
AP USH
Pre-AP French 4
Physics
Algebra II

I have not confirmed this with any teachers or anything, but that is what I have in mind. An alternative would be to skip AP Euro for AP Econ, or skip both of those for an honors level Algebra…the teacher is very difficult, it would look good, but I don’t want to do as much math for college. I’m better at history/english/lang.

It’s a good schedule for my school…even though it’s private, the competition is really between a small collection of students, and although this schedule isn’t the best out of them…it sure brings me to the center of their attention. Hopefully I can manage it–my school assigns a lot of homework, almost like it is their philosophy.

AP Language and Composition
Physics
Pre-Calculus or Calculus (I’m still deciding)
AP US History
AP Chemistry
AP Studio Art
German III

AP Lang
AP USH
AP Physics C
AP Econ
AP Calc AB
Anatomy and Physiology
Chinese 4

APUSH
AP English Language
Honors Physics
Honors Pre-Calculus
French 3
Journalism
Psychology (+ self study for AP Test)

So far:
AP Econ Micro
AP US History
AP French
Biology (we don’t have any “honors” science classes, but the way the chem classes are divided this year makes me think they have a system going on)
Honors Pre-Cal
Spanish (I live in PR so it’s pretty much the equivalent to AP Spanish)
English

If it were up to me I’d take every single AP there is, but my school let’s you take AP English/Spanish only in senior year and you can’t replace science classes with the AP equivalent, like I wish I could do w/ Bio sigh.
