My sister is a senior in HS tuis year so she’s graduating pm Tuesday and attending college in the autumn. So I’ve gotten a lot o college knowledge recently. I really like UPenn and Columbia now but I’m sure that it’ll change. I really like Wellesley as well (my moms frien went there and now lives in the town of Wellesley). So my list looks a little like this
UPenn
Wellesley
Columbia
Yale (for the hell of it)
Georgetown
NYU
Boson University
Tufts
Bowdoin
Middlebury

I need a couple safeties! I wanna be a lawyer, what are some schools with great pre law? Thanks.

Try GWU.

What school did she get accepted to?

@MorrocanDude- Regardless, they are both great schools of equal caliber.

@Orange - Is this a weighted GPA?

University of California Sex and Beer?

Hahaha woww… Santa Barbara.

ROFL HAHAHA 10char

Or how about the University of Spoiled Children.

^Perhaps it means “I kid” or “I know?”

I know 10char.

EDIT: You haven’t heard of anyone saying that?
P.S. ksar, you broke the 10char chain.

@Mrluggs:

Yes, but I have no weighted (weight-able) classes.

I’m very aware of that, but I might as well apply, eh? Of course, it’s highly unlikely that I’ll be accepted. But that’s not going to stop me from trying - same with Columbia, Stanford, and all the other “reach” schools on my list…

And lol I’m just now realizing how different this list could look in a couple of years. I’ve already added Yale, and I haven’t even visited half of the schools on my list. We’ll see. =P

I didn’t visit any of the schools I applied to and ended up just fine. Visits aren’t prerequisites for a successful application.

^ I would definitely hope not. I won’t be able to visit any schools that I’ll want to attend, since I live in the state of subpar education <<

How do colleges weight Gpa? I mean think about it, we all come from different schools with different class weights.
