<p>I recently became aware that South Carolina does not take the writing section of the SAT into account. Because this would set my current score at a 1030/1690 and my highest score (hopefully) around 1110/1800 do I have any chance of acceptance at the University of South Carolina? My student transcript is actually very good but I know my SAT scores may pose a bigger problem</p>
<p>I'm going to USC in the fall and my SAT score was 1310 and ACT 27. They take your best Math and Reading scores, and create their own score...check the website for more information about which scores are usually accepted, and I recommend taking the ACT. Good Luck!</p>
