You are also exempt in some schools if your CR and WR scores are above a certain mark.

How to apply for early decision?

Ummm...the same way you would for regular decision, except a couple of months in advance

My Dream is MIT... class 2013
Major: Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering

I too dream MIT..........nd AEROSPACE too.........Wanna fly high with AEROSPACE engineering....

i love Lafayette :X::X Amherst too. But i choose Laf for ED ^ ^

Ooooh I just discovered Pomona <3

Hellooo, my lovely fellow foreigners!

Anybody seeking full-aid here??

Pomona's absolutely brilliant

Tetrisfan, have you visited any of the places you're interested in?

adrivit, I am!

So ... what colleges are u considering?? We need a comprehensive guide to full-aid giving colleges!! Apparently, we are having pretty many sleepless nights!

I might be in the states next summer, so if I do go I'll be sure to put in a few visits.

Ooh nice, you'll have to let us know how you get on.

I'm considering Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Amherst, Middlebury, Williams, Northwestern and Pomona. And possibly MIT.

Do Northwestern and Pomona provide full-aid. I heard somewhere that Pomona is extremely generous with aid because they are diversifying ... but generous is often << full-aid ...

Yep I looked up a lot of stuff about Pomona last night and they offer full need based aid. If you need it, they'll cover it. But of course that does depend on your family income and not what you think you need..

Oh yes that EFC part! I'm dead sure I qualify for full aid! Go Pomona then!!

BTW I'm thinking of applying to Colgate, Dickinson, Colby, Bates. Any plus, minus to do here?

Can I add Swarthmore or Haverford?

PS: My reply comes exactly two minutes after yours!!

Are those all ok for financial aid? I don't know anything about Swarthmore or Haverford..

Where are you from?

Yes, from what I've have gathered from CC and the colleges' websites they are OK for fin-aid ...

I'm from India.

I will definitely let you guys know how I get on :)

How's the financial aid at Swarthmore?
