“We have reviewed your application for admission to The Florida State University and have decided to delay making a decision until March 19. We recommend that you provide the following: Mid-year senior grades - Have your grades sent to Florida State as soon as they become available but no later than February 19. New ACT or SAT results - Retake either test prior to March of your senior year and request that the scores be sent to Florida State.”

EliteFootball-
Do not despair! I noticed you want to major in Dietetics and Nutrition. FSU does not even have a good Dietetics program. They do not effectively prepare their students to work in the real world. I am a RD for 20+ years and have recently come in contact with nutrition graduates from FSU. I will say I have not been impressed with their level of Nutrition knowledge. After you get your Bachelor of Science (BS), you would have to look for an internship in order to sit for the Registration exam (not an easy task). Most FSU graduates were never even informed of this important detail. In the State of Florida- you cannot counsel patients on anything nutrition related without a license. In order to get a license, you MUST be registered. Without a RD and license, your Dietetics BS is worthless.
Why not look into FIU? They have one of the best Dietetics programs in the State. Plus, you would be in their Coordinated Undergraduate Program (CUP) which allows you to complete your internship hours while getting your BS. You can then take your registration exam right after graduation and actually use your Dietetics degree.
As sad and disappointed as you are, realize that in the long run, FSU is not the right school for your major. Do some research, I am sure you will find a school which is perfect for you and your desired major.
Wishing you the best of luck.

I am member of the national honor society

Honor Roll Scholar
125 hours volunteering in a elderly home
Miami Dade College Dean’s list
Attending a TOP 10 best high school in the whole nation (U.S)

I was also accepted for summer admission. Other when I would start, is there any difference? Does this also mean that I would be to graduate during the fall semester of my senior year rather than spring if I went there?

If you get summer acceptance it doesn’t mean you are deferred for fall or that there is any difference in graduation. It ONLY means that a condition of your acceptance is to start early. For Florida residents this is a great opportunity to get your 9 hours of required classes during a summer session that all public university students must take at the 10 public universities. Otherwise, look at it as a laid back preview of college life before the craziness of fall begins. You will have an advantage over the new fall students since you will already know your way around campus. Congrats!
