four- two reaches, two safeties

8 schools for me! still waiting to hear back from four of them!

I applied to 3. Cal Poly SLO (match/low reach) UMaine (safety/low match), and Kansas (admitted). Weird mix, I know, lol.

I applied to four UC’s, a few research universities in California, a few ivies, a few research uni’s in the East Coast, and one liberal arts school in New York.

I was planning on 5 but I ended up only applying to 4 because after hearing back from the school I applied ED to the 5th wasn’t necessary

7: 6 of the top UC’s + Cal Poly

26…

3 so far, will submit 5 more by tomorrow or the day after, and maybe one last one. 8 or 9 in total.

Also applied/will apply to UCLA, UCSD, UCD, Princeton, Columbia, and Stanford.

17 colleges. Well 16 since I’ve already been rejected from one

Two reaches, three matches, four safeties.

To those who applied to more than 10 (26???31???)… How did you do all those applications? Bless your souls I could hardly handle the 4 I did

S applied to 14 in total. 3 accepted already with scholarships, 1 deferred. The rest we’ll hear from in Feb-Apr time frame. He has several reaches which explains the large number of schools. Not sure which way he’ll go in the end. He wants out of state and warm weather. I made him apply to some local schools too in case things changed.

Right now, I’m applying to 14. I’m not sure if I’m accurate on the whole reach, match, and safety thing, but I believe I have 1 safety (accepted), 7 matches, and 6 reaches.

My parents want me to apply to some schools offering scholarships for NMS. My dad’s also trying to convince me to add Columbia and/or Cornell to my list, so my number of schools may expand.

Planned on applying to 5 (NYU, Bard, Vassar, Emerson, and University of Hartford), applied to NYU and Bard Early Decision. Got into both and now going to NYU :)

10! 3 private reach schools, 4 public matches and 3 safeties (2 public, one state-related). Accepted to four and rejected from MIT so far.

i just pushed myself and set aside time to work on apps. i’m completely done but friends of mine are only applying to 10 and have many left :p
