@confidential, are you out of your mind??? This is the best time to study classics. You got four months!! Why leave it??? I say go for it. I’ve finished Moby Dick, and am now moving to Homer. Trust me, they help a lot!

4 months is more than enough improve your CR score once you start cultivating your reading habits… the only thing i did to improve my CR was read a lot of Jane Austen… but then the negligence and the lack of practice did hurt my writing score :p… so do the mock tests on a regular basis and don’t forget about the writing portion as well…

yeah…I think it will help to read classics at this time…
and @pinkfloyd…lol u read Moby Dick!!!..i found it so boring and difficult(probably because of being bored) that I completed only a few chapters…
and @3333 yeah…Jane Austen helps a lot…but then I found them so irritating…like Hindi teleserials…Family drama…

[What to Pack - College of Wooster](http://www.wooster.edu/Student-Life/Residence-Life/new-students/What-to-Pack)

go for animal farm, that book is really an easy read…at this situation, u must read that one and Pygmalion too is a wonderful book but but but the same thing…too much of unnecessary words used and the language made as complex as the writer could…

@prasadian Dude, you hallucinating already!!!

@united: family drama!!! ouch… not all of them are that way… but then again who am i kidding… :p

@prasadian…what happened to you?? we are yet to take our SATs man…ahile dekhi nai what to pack ??? well, when you are ready to goto college, contact me, I found something helpful some days ago and I will let you take a look at that ‘valuable’ thing before you goto a college…anyone interested might contact me …but not now…only when you have your I-20, visa and tickets!!

@3333–haha…I ve not read all of them-

guys im not hallucinating… just keeping the link for our use …might come handy u know…;D

the supplementary essay topics r out for many colz, so ppl applying early…guys take a head start !!

Well as far as i know, those topics were for the 2014ers. For us it is yet to come!!!Maybe the colleges will update them by a month or so.

^^usually, the supplements are hardly updated…that means in most of the cases, the essay topics will be same…so you can always practice with the same thing that was their earlier…its my 100th post…im throwin a party…everyone is invited…by the way the party is virtual…

@Prasadian
ACT is a good choice if u are from a science background( even though I didn’t do well)… I will be going for ACT once more and take the SAT too… but dun want to prepare for it… preparation is just tooooooo boring… LOL

@confidential2015 post #379
I totally go with you… preparing all those old sets again and again don’t help you in the exam guys… i sufered that even though i prepared less… but that aint gonna work… all you need is just read literature alot and yes for maths (i find it very easy)understand not just solve those qst… but once again that preparation thing aint gonna work…

Hello, sarbaraj101, it appears that you have not posted on our forums in several weeks, why not take a few moments to ask a question, help solve another member’s problem, or just join a conversation?

meow

I’ve heard it’s quite hard getting into state colleges, public universities considering they don’t provide much aid to int’l candidate. How far is this true?

@Dezavoo
