@prasadina : CA report (I guess chartered accountant) and statement is not required. In ISFAA and COF where you mention the amount you pay. You need to mention how much from savings or deposit. You need a balance certificate that mentions in dollars the same amount you state. A simple request will do it.
ani regardin mail thing, I and few of my friends used Our own postal service (although register mail) and you do have tracking in it but only after it reaches USA. So clearly mention the adress (Printed adress slips) and all of our packeges reached safe. Costs about 300 (not sure though ) per packet. At the end its your own money and choice with how you want to do it. I am just sharing my experience.

@davidv : why cant u use credit card for it ???

I need some suggestion. I am working on my personal essay. It is almost done. the ED date for the college where i want to apply it Nov.15. Since sat as well as act exams have approached nearer, I am thinking to devote all the time for the test preparation and leave rest things till oct 24. then start to prepare other documents. Am i going in wrong direction?

My college dun hav GC so i have no idea abt application fee waiver document. Could anyone please send me a format of it? plzzzzz

My reached in max 12 and minimum 8 days. Most deadlines are Postal deadlines (by which date you must have posted). Although I wouldnt recommend posting on the deadline itself If you submit online app by the deadline, if your packet reaches laye by 5-7 days wont make much difference. Although try to redude this and not make any delays/

It will be all right. You can even send one teachers online and other by writing. While IS, GC’s recommendation and other school reports should be via same means *either online or via paper. @prasadian : How may days of what ?? bank balance. You dont need any days. The bank will issue a certificate at with the amount in your account at that moment. So you can prepare a certificate by keeping money today and then taking out the money the next day after certificate. If you are asking about days for documents to reach via postal service, see the last post in previous page

@Expeliarmus
Transcript and bank balance certificate if you show that in CSS I guess!!

I just forgot how to quote hahaha…Can anyone teach me that? @here123
While IS, GC’s recommendation and other school reports should be via same means *either online or via paper.Could you elaborate on that???

It means IS (International Supplement), SR (Secondary School Report), MR (Mid Year Report), FR (Final Report) and guidance counsellor recommendation are almost same component. So you must either send them all online or offline. You can’t send IS online and GC’s recommendation offline. @Expeliarmus : Although I aint experienced in that (All things online), I have heard that if your GC submits recommendation online, they he can even scan the original trascript (Not you though). IF that happens than you may even send your CV (If you want to ) and bank balance by scanning. Which will make no packet at all . This is what I understand. I havent seen this case so others might elaborate on it

Is there 2011/2012 version of ISFAA and certification of finances form? there needs to be the 2011/2012 version of Certification of finances form coz without it you cannot enter the predicted amount of contribution for 2014-2015…anyone who has the form???

@confidential
We have to use the same form i.e 2010/1011.We will be completing our study by 2015(if everything goes on plan).So,why do we need to show the fund for 2016 as funds form 2014/2015 prediction will be used for next year of study not the same year.

ye ye…i thut we would require a new form coz the prediction goes up to 2014 only and we graduate in 2015(if everything goes well)…and what about ISFAA? do we use the same 10/11 version or there is a new one??

i dont think so yaar…if u go look at the CSS profile page it says :PROFILE Online Application for 2011 - 12 will be available on October 1, 2010. You should file this application if you are entering or returning to college in the fall of 2011 or the spring of 2012.
so u see we need the forms with 2011/2012 wirtten in it…n that show imply to ISFAA n COF as well …

n how much do u guys intend to show in ur bank statement? i have heard if u show lots of money, the colz might consider u to pay lot more…

^^
time and again i have been telling you not to worry about the money thing… just think common myan… we are applying for need based so showing money more aint gonna help you unless you are waitlisted you can increase the amount you wish to pay. Just make a small bank doc stating I have this much USD in bank and fill in the certification of finances about the amount you wish to pay. Finished nothing more and you always thinking more seriously.
just chill dude.

i talked with a college admission officer and she told me that new forms will be available from october 1st…so rocker…we won’t be using the old forms…i told u man we can’t list the estimated amount of money for our final year in the current form…

@confidential : I was talking about the same thing long time back (if you guys remember) because class of 2014 used the form you guys were planning to use.

^^
myan!!! does that mean we can fill those form only after oct 1st???
well then lets hope its not late than oct 1 coz after that we’ll be a bit busy with the tests so might be a bit late for dates…
and now i decide to take the SAT too… lets see what happens. LOL

@here…yeah i remember u discussing abt the forms and I too was confused and had no idea. so i didn’t speak anything but later when I checked the form, it had no place for the year 2015 haha…and then i asked abt it here…and rocker told…use the same form but i was still not satisfied coz there was no place for the year 2015. so i contacted an admission officer yesterday and she told me that the forms will be available only after (on) october 1st…

@chandal…that means we are not running late…we are keeping our pace and there is nothing much to worry about…best of luck for the new decision…
