AP Calculus AB/BC

English 10 Honors
Spanish 4 Honors
Financial Literacy (online; required)

^You can’t take AB and BC in the same year, I’m pretty sure.

@TheGreatCatsbyx
Why am I a genius? Plus you’re taking AP Bio, which I’m taking my senior year.

^Nah, it’s possible to take AB and BC in the same year. Some other school in my district offers it.

@luvnotlove Leave APUSH for junior year. Also, don’t worry about your schedule! It’s all in the context of your own school. As long as you’re holding your own against your classmates at school, it’s all good.

I’m one of the two people in my grade of 167 people taking 3 APs next year.
AP Calc
AP Chem
AP Euro
Honors English 10
Drawing and Painting 2
Japanese 2

My schedule would seem like a joke to you guys on CC, but everyone else thinks that my schedule is over-achieving…

I need harsh words of criticism like an agonizing gust that blows in the desert. Also, I’m pretty confused of which EC’s I should have. I’m a staff for the school’s newspaper and will join Math club and Science Olympiad next year…
all of you should suggest other EC’s that go along well with journalism, math and science. :)

I really want to take ap classes but my school is all upright on what you can and can’t take.

Look, man. It doesn’t look like a joke. In fact, it’s better than mine. You’re taking three hard APs. I’m taking two joke-y ones. If you want harsh, agonizing words of criticism, then here’s all I’ve got: your current ECs are a bit weak. But hey, take it with a grain if salt since this is coming from a girl who has horrible ECs too.

@Swinter
It’s not that my school doesn’t offer them at the same time, it’s that you can’t take both of the AP tests in the same year.

Re-Did my schedule for National AP Scholar as a Sophomore [~45 people last year]

Spanish III
Honors English 10
Honors Chemistry
Honors Pre-Calculus
AP Statistics
AP Physics B
AP Computer Science
AP European History/Pre-AP US History
-2 half-years, already done pre-Euro and need to do Pre-AP for APUSH

Also, my school is paying for me to take these online:
AP MicroEconomics/MacroEconomics

Self-Studying:
AP Psychology
AP Human Geography or AP World History

Honors English II
Honors Chemistry
Honors Spanish III
Honors Geometry
Pre-AP World History
History of Human History
Culinary Arts

Unfortunately, that is all my school offers. Do colleges understand?

@Secoja At that school, the class is called Calculus AB/BC. So you take it in one class in one year. The kids end up only taking the calc BC exam since BC includes AB anyway.

@Morse15 Yes colleges understand. If you’re taking the hardest your school offers, then it should be fine. Good on you. :)

Algebra II
French II Honors
Chemistry Honors
Medical physiology
General anatomy physiology
APUSH
Symphonic band
I liked my schedule until I saw all of the other schedules , which made me cry.

^Don’t cry.
Just curious, do you like physiology?

@Secoja8

The AP Calculus AB Exam isn’t taken by students who take both the AB/BC classes in the same year (since BC covers all of AB). My school (and I’m sure many others), combine both into one year long course to avoid having to spend valuable time reviewing AB.

I’ll (hopefully!) be taking

Lit & Comp II H

Conservatory (I go to an Arts school)

I fear for my future reading this thread. My school does not offer AP classes to sophomores. Will this affect me?

^No, because colleges will know your school doesn’t offer AP classes to sophomores. If you try hard and take good classes, that’s all colleges would like to see (class wise).

Woot woot! Can’t wait to get out of ninth grade~

Canadian Schedule

10 English Academic
10 History Academic
