I took AP Human Geo, the only AP offered to freshmen at my school. My teacher was very unhelpful but I managed a 5 by studying in the weeks leading up to the exam, mostly with Barron’s. I guess that’s not saying much, since Human Geo is supposedly the easiest AP class. The only advice I can give is to keep up with reading your textbook and to possibly check out some test prep books from the library if you need some extra help.

To the sophomores,

If your high school allows freshmen to take 1 AP, about how many APs will sophomores be allowed to take?

It depends on your school.

At my school it’s one for both freshman and sophomore year then after that, they recommend that you don’t go over four junior and senior year but of course you can take as many as you want.

Our school allows us to take AP Human and Euro in either Freshman and sophomore year. Then you can take AP American in sophomore.

In my school, sophomores are allowed to take AP World, AP Euro, or AP Computer Science. Most people take AP world since it’s a “well-known” AP course to take. Of course, some people take other APs as well, but that’s only if they finished the prerequisites.

Is 17 APs(out of 30 something offered at campus) too much?
