<p>@Nina2332, i’d say 1900 is good! I got into Smeal with a 1940 and I’ve heard it’s more selective than a lot of the other majors.</p>
<p>I applied undecided at first, but then asked admissions to change it to French Studies. Do you think they’re less selective than Smeal for example?</p>

<p>My daughter was rejected this morning- applied for summer, undecided, (3.6 gpa and 1200/1840 SAT) She applied the first week of September. Picture stayed University Park the whole time.</p>

<p>Was accepted this morning to the division of undergraduate studies of Penn State University Park for fall 2012. Applied Nov 30 with an unweighted GPA of 3.3 (self calculated and may be higher; school doesn’t say) and unknown weighted GPA (school does not tell us). My SAT scores were 1240/1830 and I am undecided/undeclared. So glad I finally received a decision. The constant waiting by the computer and mailbox was getting old and frustrating, especially after everyone in my school, but me, had already received a decision. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting on a decision.</p>
<p>(To BlueHen) You and your daughter should call the school and appeal the decision or at least find their reasoning behind it because it just is unbelievable to me that they would reject her.</p>
