Class of 2017 EDI

Agh that’s so frustrating! It will all work out though, just force him/her to sign it!!! And yes, I dreamt I was accepted! I’ve also planned up exactly what I’ll do if I’m accepted or rejected haha.

I had my counselor fax the ED agreement this morning, and Vassar emailed me saying they received it :)

And oh my goodness I have so many plans! I’m gonna paint my nails Vassar colors if I get accepted and black if I get rejected. And I changed my computer background to a pretty picture of my safety school so that if I get rejected, I can remind myself that I really like my safety school and would be totally happy to go there if I got rejected from Vassar and all my other reach/target schools.

Did anybody submit an arts supplement?

Does anyone have a lot of people from his/her school applying?

The last person from my school to go to Vassar was the class of 2005, ahaha. Most of my classmates are applying to in-state schools.

Haha wow! I know of 8 or so other people applying from my school and at least 1 has gone each year.

guys I legitimately cannot wait.

I had my interview today and it was kind of wonderful. I know they say it’s non-evaluative but he said he really liked me and I would be good at Vassar so I suppose that’s a good sign?

CAN THEY JUST RELEASE DECISIONS PLEASE

Hi! I applied ED to vassar and im super nervous  I keep fantasizing what would happen If i get in and what would happen if i don’t haha. Anyway, if anyone doesnt mind me asking, what is everyones stats or even simpler: general location, type of high school, and maybe other schools you all are applying to?

I only ask because Im the only one applying ED from my school and probably one of 10 applying at all. Im from NJ and I go to a small private school, and im looking at tons of other schools, but especially Tufts, USC, Tulane, Villanova

The prospect of having to apply regular decision to schools and wait until April KILLS me. Wow. I can barely wait a month for ED.

Harry9 I totally agree with you!

Oh my god you guys if we don’t get into Vassar ED we have to wait MONTHS for other colleges… that’s not fun.

hi guys! i just found this thread the other day and i’m glad to finally have people to commiserate with about how awful this wait is… i sent in my app a few weeks early too so it’s been completely agonizing. hopefully i’m not the only one freaking out! in response to oneofsix’s question: i’m from northeast massachusetts and i go to a public school that is ranked pretty high in all of massachusetts (within the top 10). i’m also applying to brown, wesleyan, bard, columbia, brandeis, amherst, and tufts - but hopefully i won’t have to!

If I don’t get in, I’m applying EDII to Swarthmore. BUT VASSAR THO

Ahhhh. If I don’t get in, my top choices are Amherst and Tufts.

If I don’t get in, I’m applying to Brown, Amherst, Middlebury, Wesleyan, Hamilton, Oberlin, and Smith. So basically a bunch of schools with open curricula like Vassar’s, except for Middlebury.

I kind of hope they release decisions on Friday the 14th instead of a school night, because I don’t think I’ll be able to get any homework done on decision day like AT ALL

When I did my overnight at Vassar everyone asked me the other schools I am applying to and they all said that everyone basically applies to the same ones (which I’d say is true looking at this thread). Brown and Wesleyan are not quite as perfect as Vassar but I’m in love with them too. I totally agree with deckthehalls - I’m basically going to be sitting in front of my computer just shaking uncontrollably the day that they release decisions.

same… I really hope its the 14th, but I’m betting its at midnight, I’ve heard though that in years past its never been on a weekend

I’ve already applied EA to Kalamazoo (safety, but so awesome). If I don’t get in (AHHH LESS THAN TWO WEEKS), I’ll apply to Carleton (probably EDII), Bowdoin, Oberlin, Middlebury, Wesleyan, Connecticut College, and Beloit (another safety).

This wait is killing me. Don’t even know what to do with myself.

Ive applied EA to tulane, villanova, and chapman
and the wait is driving me crazy!
