I WAS JUST ACCEPTED TO KENYON AND I LOVE IT.

@AmericanHopee - how were you notified? I didn’t think RD decisions would be mailed until April. 1st?

(sorry for the yelling earlier)
Via email - I live abroad. Apparently Kenyon notified all international and expat students in the first week of March. None of my American friends (on American soil) has received anything though, so I would not worry.

I was also accepted to Kenyon! I received my acceptance in the mail on Monday, though. Also accepted to Grinnell early and to the University of Puget Sound.

This is my Ds list:
Rutgers: accepted ($)
Simmons: accepted ($)
Binghamton: acc ($)
Wellesley: possible
UMassAmh, Goucher, Vassar, BrynMawr, Smith: waiting

@Fordham19 - Sorry, I just saw your question. She auditioned in NYC, at Ailey.

My daughter is a transfer - transferring in as a sophomore - and she was accepted to all 3 she applied to!
University of South Carolina
University of Missouri/Mizzou
University of Mississippi/Ole Miss

She’s ruled out Ole Miss, but is currently torturing herself in deciding between the other 2.

@DDdances - My DD auditioned in NYC as well on 12/10. What day did your D audition?

@Fordham19 to be honest I don’t remember the date, but it was December :). It’s all a big blur!

We are in NJ and my daughter has received 6 decisions so far.
Accepted at:
Rutgers (A&S, Engineering, SEBS)
TCNJ
UDel Engineering w/merit
Clark U w/merit
SUNY Binghamton (A&S, denied at their engineering school)
Virginia Tech CAUS (she put Industrial Design as her first choice major and was accepted)
Still waiting on: UMD College Park, RPI, U Richmond, William & Mary, Macalester, CUNY and Smith.

Hi all, this is my first post here.

Here is my son’s list:
UT Austin - Butler School of Music: Accepted
FSU School of music: Accepted
Baylor University: Accepted to the university ($) but still waiting on the decision from the school of music (decided by audition)
Eastman School of Music: waiting

My daughter is toggling between LOC for dance major, and conservatories.

Acceptances:
University of the Arts
Temple U Dance BFA ($)
Rutgers Dance BFA ($)
Goucher (full scholarship - yay)
UNC School of the Arts
Marymount Manhattan BA ($)

Waiting:
Smith
Mt Holyoke
Barnard
Muhlenberg
Boston Conservatory
Fordham Ailey BFA

We’re going to have to accept what we can do financially, and merit aid is primary. Fingers crossed for everyone!

Update: My daughter was waitlisted at RPI- she was pretty surprised and disappointed by that. :(

Any other parents with a child who has no acceptances yet? Mine has only heard from the early action school (an Ivy) and was deferred. The waiting is killing ME!

Milkweed, our son only wanted to go to UCs. So no acceptances here either. But we’ll know by next week!

I agree that the waiting is really really tough.

Update: yes from UMassAmherst (CHC) and Goucher both with generous aid offers. Still waiting Bryn Mawr, Wellesley, Vassar and Smith.

Thanks everyone for your updates. We’ve heard from UF, Fordham (with a nice merit aid package and an acceptance in just seven days) and WashU. Waiting on lots of others, so the updates help. Good luck!

Another update: got the official UDel FA materials and my daughter received a $5k/year grant in addition to her $5k/year scholarship. This brings her OOS net COA down to the same general range (i.e., still very expensive :() as Rutgers/TCNJ instate, so that was a great surprise! Really liking UDel right now- they sent such a nice acceptance letter, a lot more welcoming than SUNY Bing’s, for example.

@milkweed we are still waiting to hear from Boston University, NYU, Syracuse and Emerson!

Some applicants have heard from Wesleyan. My daughter’s decision isn’t available yet!!!
