Anyone know a reason why BC had so many more applicants in early action?

same reason every other school has so many more applicants after each year.

I know everyone is very anxious about hearing from BC, but if you want to find out if you have been accepted or not, you do not have to wait until Saturday or Monday’s mail. When you log into your Agora Portal, if you have been accepted, there will be new tabs next to “My Services.” The new tabs a regarding the payment deposit for accepted students.

@nystudent15 Is there a tab next to “My Services” right now, or will they update that later

Argh, someone find the tab! Don’t see it! :(

I don’t think the tab opens until 3-4 days after the letters have been sent out.

Does anyone know if the letters are getting mailed this morning or tonight?

I had heard that the mailings go out in the afternoon.

Has anyone seen a tab change yet? My daughter’s is unchanged.

Nope, no new tabs here. I think I’ll just wait until the letters come out. I don’t think they’ll change anything in the portal until a few days after the letters have been sent.

Exactly, but not until next week.

(nystudent – better to have all the facts, than half a story. Good thing to learn for college work.0

All this talk about the increased size of the ea applicant pool has me nervous now. Do you guys think I have a good chance?

@matusa96 lmao get out… You’re worried!!? Why???

@Mfrias because bc gets VERY qualified apps, and my strongest sat section was writing (and i don’t know how much they value that)

When I visited in the summer, I asked an admissions counselor if the writing section was less important due to the upcoming SAT changes. I was told that they consider it the least important section, but every part of the application is important. Someone with a 2000 (800, 800, 400) wouldn’t have their writing section ignored.

The decisions have been mailed guys!!! Time to start stalking your mailman

What states do you think will receive letters tomorrow??

I hope New York gets it tomorrow, I’m sick of waiting :(

California will be last :(

Took six days for CO applicants to hear from Georgetown
