Just wondering, for those of you guys who were accepted, did you guys appeal or send in waitlist letters? Or simply just wait?

1650 SAT, 3.6 UW, tons of extracurricular activities… Bio major this major is so impacted so idk if they extended the deadline but can they just flat out reject me. It’s been days overdue. What are your stats?

I called them and they said early june through July…
Just waited. My impression is that an appeal will not do much unless you have new information that will sway their decision. If you haven’t herd yet dont lose hope… that most likely means they are still admitting people.
Still waitlisted… Declared Chemistry as my major and have a 3.3 GPA W w/ a 1750 SAT… I just called in today and they said they’d have admissions done by this week according to the operator on the line. Pretty bummed after seeing everyone here are already in and seeing how impacted my major is isn’t helping.
Wow. Just as I posted this i just got off the waitlist! Did anyone else hear anything back?

My major is Neuroscience which is super impacted too… I think I’m going to give up hope because I’m almost graduating and I still haven’t heard back from them. They’re accepting more people, yet I doubt they would have a space open for me. My SAT was low and I have a decent gpa. FYI, my daughter just got the email today stating she is now accepted - we had kind of given up because I had called and was told they were going to let people know by 5/15. Just wanted y’all to know there is still hope. She’s a biochem major.

Other provisions:
To maintain eligibility to your selecting major, your overal
minimum GPA must be 3.0. Your current evaluated GPA is
3.04 through 14F. In addition you must complete the
following courses with a ‘B’ or better: ECON2/MATH30
The ECON2/MATH30 means ECON2 “or” MATH30, or it means ECON2 “and” MATH30
Because i will probably get C for Math 30 and get A for Econ2
momo0327 - Congrats! You should call the Admissions office if you haven’t already. When we’ve gone on tours and they talk about senior grades, they always say something about talking to your counselor if you think you’re going to get a bad grade, but in your case (not bad grade), you should still start there

Well I am still on the waitlist as a pre-business major. I called a few weeks back and my admissions counselor said theyd hopefully be done in the next couple of weeks. And I still haven’t heard back. and then I called today and the lady said that maybe in a few days and that they didn’t have a specific deadline(kind of dumb) and that at this point theyre encouraging students to sir at theyre other option(duhhh!). Really for me I understand the admission process is gruesome but its almost july and school starts soon. classes get full. so yeah even if we were in. wed go through a lot of hell.
hopefully we get in though!!
