@Hilary918 on your OPUS account it should say it is either “completed” or “initiated” although I don’t remember ever seeing it as “initiated”. All I know is that the day my counselor submitted it (aka the deadline) it appeared in OPUS as completed. But I think they do understand that some schools have different periods in which they ar table to report the mid year report but it can’t hurt to check first from your counselor to make sure he/ she didn’t just up and forget.
do decisions always come out on apr 1?
@mdlego I have access to course registration for fall of 2016 if that is supposed to mean anything…
@NotAMathlete LMAO Wassup from Cornell ED. Nice to see you again!
@laughandlearn23 they said decisions would come out BY April 1st. So it could come out any day now…just have to wait I guess
@rhdhtai where is the registration for fall 2016 on the portal? Do you mean you can search for courses or actually register/enroll for them?
@laughandlearn23 I visted Emory a couple weeks ago and the rep there said March 30th would be the release date.
I wish they release the decisions sooner, so I can use my spring break for college trip. I don’t want to miss classes lol catching up is the worst
@Okarus Skipping classes during second semester senior year for accepted college tours is one of the best things
@rhdhtai Hey! Cornell ED is everywhere I swear haha! I also have access to Fall 2016, but not all classes - only a first year writing seminar, and for schools I can only pick “Emory” from the dropdown box even though I applied to both Oxford and Emory. Also, on the front page of my OPUS account, both of my boxes say “Emory,” albeit I’m not really sure if this ever changed - it could have always been like that. :^))
My son applied to Oxford only, and on his front page it says “Emory”, but when we go to the first year writing seminar, the classes he can pick from are all only on the Oxford campus. Hope this is good news for him!!
My situation is very similar to poster #71’s. I applied to both Emory and Oxford but the front page says “Emory” for both. I can only see Emory’s classes as well. However, I can see all the course offerings available, not only just the first-year seminar.
We can now see the whole course catalog for emory and oxford classes for fall of 2016. But, this probably is available to all applicants.
Does anyone NOT have the course selection options?
Before, there was no option for Fall 2016 but now I do.
I also applied to both Emory and Oxford, but now I am only seeing Emory for both.
I can also see the whole course catalog for both emory and oxford. Maybe this is available to all applicants?
@cchopeful2016 Yeah that’s what I’m assuming too. Considering how many people have this option, I doubt it indicates anything.
I can only access Emory University classes. There is no option for Oxford at all. Does it mean anything?
None of these signs mean anything, unless one solely applied to Emory.
You all are looking for clues that are not there.
