Admission decisions will be sent out on tuesday or wednesday. Yeah it is happening …
Best of luck to all of us
The Admissions staff returns from their Spring Break on Monday. In the past they usually tried to wait until the end of the week to release the decisions…to avoid all the calls from the heartbroken.
If you didn’t receive the diversity life weekend form and you are not… white… does that mean that you have higher chance that you are not accepted to the school?? I’m just really nervous because this school is my top choice.
And does the diversity weekend ish also imply to internationals who arent american citizens or who don’t have permenant residence card or who don’t live in the states…Really trying to calculate my chances and be prepared for another rejection #:-S
@snow30 I’m an Australian citizen and I don’t have a permanent residence card and I wasn’t invited to Diversity Weekend either.
Same situation here
Well lets just keep our fingers crossed
Do you know that it will be tuesday/wednesday for sure?
I don’t think internationals would be invited, only because Lehigh promises to pay for your trip if you’re more than 5 hours away (I’m like 4.5 hours away, but I checked the box anyways, I will mostly likely call them to double-check). International flights are very expensive and they may not want that financial burden considering there’s a decent number of internationals at Lehigh, sorry That is just a guess though; technically they could still invite internationals and just not offer to pay for their trip, but from what I’ve heard internationals do not get invited to Diversity Life Weekend.
@CallmeC Thanks for clearing my mind
where did you get tuesday or wednesday from? last year it was thursday
I am not speaking for Lehigh, but in my experience with other schools, a day like that may only target specific groups and not all diversity students. For example XYZ College may have targeted diversity levels for African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, women, LGBT, first generation students, etc. Say that last year the college achieved internal enrollment targets for some of these groups, but not others. The admissions office, may decide to hold a day like this that target areas only categories where they were short of last year’s targeted levels. They may not have room to include all groups.
The point is that I do not think you can conclude that if you did not get invited, you will not be admitted. It is rarely that simple.
Is anyone going to Lehigh’s diversity life?
And also I read a statistic that says Lehigh invites around 150 applicants for Diversity Life. So obviously if you’re not invited, it doesn’t mean you got rejected
March 25th decisions come out
@cocoabutter16 are you sure? why it is too late? :((
How do you know??? @cocoabutter16
Has anyone who received the Diversity invite/been told of their acceptance learned of any merit/scholarship information?
@barryfan not my D. We expect to get that info when all decisions have been sent out.
moot point as the weekend has filled; registration has closed.
