@easmom1 How did your D receive the SU notification?

@“boola boola”- She received it yesterday via email and they mentioned a letter would also be coming via snail mail.

@“boola boola” my son will be in Michigan this weekend, also. but he’s not flying to LA afterwards 8-}

There is no A in Millikin. Actually you’ll find the annual faculty production of “There’s no E in Millikin” on youtube. :slight_smile:

Tell that to my iPhone autocorrect!! :))

For me -spelling “Muhlenberg” was always the big challenge :wink:

My S just got a “still in the running” email from Otterbein after Chicago unifieds. It said make sure your application is complete and FAFSA has been submitted to Otterbein in the event that you get one of the coveted 16 available spots.

Re: Belmont, my D got a rejection by snail mail about 2 weeks after her audition in January. (Her first no other than prescreens, and we’d really liked the school so it sucked.) So I think if they know it’s a “no”, they do let you know sooner. Also, I think at least one person has posted here that their D was accepted earlier in December. So while most decisions prob come in March, some come sooner.

S got an acceptance to CCM from Chicago Unified auditions via email today. He auditioned on the first day.

@peacemama Congratulations!

@peacemama Wow! Fabulous!!!

@lithpool Thanks much!

On a separate thread, I saw where someone called UNCSA earlier this week to see when they would be notifying of acceptances. They said they will starting rolling them out the end of this week through the next two weeks. Not sure if that’s by email or phone call.

Last year UNCSA notified accepted students with phone calls.

In the past CMU has always made calls. Do they not do that any more?

@Notmath1 Last year the decisions were delivered thru getacceptd, for both acceptances and rejections. No phone calls. Who knows what they will do this year.

D ended up on PWL for CMU last year - everything done via portal.

@artskids Was she eventually admitted?
