Any suggestions on how to rank the housing options? How do people link up to roommates at BW? Advice on dining plans?
@Anybodyhaveamap Unfortunately dining plans have changed since my D graduated so I’m no help here… but look at what kind of dorm you want. Mine wanted community (someone else cleans) bathrooms which limited her choices… she ended up in constitution freshman year… not her favorite. Moved to Lang sophomore year and loved it. (There is a dining hall that used to remain open late in Lang, which was great for post rehearsal… and it’s across the street from Kleist.) My D went blind because by the time she came off WL most of her class had already lined up roomies. Many of them lined up via their Facebook group chat (which is still active a year post graduation). Hope this helps!
We flew in to tour BW last week, as D was accepted for the general college. Beautiful school, small and we loved the setting. Students and admin very welcoming.
While she is a musical theatre actor/vocalist she did not audition for the MT conservatory. She wants a practical degree while still pursuing MT/voice, did not want BFA.
Now not sure about choosing BW. It is an excellent school for music and MT but for other degrees?
Also does not seem that incumbent students have any leg up on others in auditioning for the MT program should she decide to audition in the fall.
