This seems like fraud to me
@Miggyd77 I 100% don’t qualify for financial aid and no scholarship link. I got the email
@lexington29 I’m sorry but different dates and a leak earlier this past week with other information screams somethings up
I got the Stem Excellence scholarship during the leak and I applied for fin aid but got no email… weird…
@phillipians I got it from that email too. What is happening
I just saw this on the UCONN website. Related?

I just noticed an PDF attachment on my email. I’m not gonna open it could it be malware?
Email address Sender was the same as my friend had last year when he was accepted… it’s the student financial aid underscore one. Everyone relax, it’s not fraud.
This is like a soap opera and I am living for it tbh
Email sent… acceptance!
Has anyone been rejected?
That’s just cold^
@Miggyd77 I second that
There is no pdf on the one sent to my D. Still struggling to understand how they have screwed the up
Okay if this were a real email, wouldn’t it be sent when the portal was updated? Most schools I applied to sent an email right after the portal was updated. There’s a discrepancy
How can anyone be rejected. These are letters from Financial Aid, not admissions.
they said 3/1 was the decision date…so wait try to hold on until Monday! That way you’ll be surprised if decisions come out earlier. It’s hard I know. Also to everyone with the emails about financial aid…don’t read too much in to it/be careful until you can confirm directly with someone from admissions/Uconn. We are all in this together! I feel bad for UConn…for such a highly regarded school this is really embarrassing for them
@Jeb0602 Sunday is 3/1
@CollegeorBustNE it’s titled xdoimgq0y0…2241761278 I’m sorry but this a really weird name for a pdf from a financial aid office
My GMAIL says the following:
signed by: mail5.its.uconn.edu
security:
uconn.edu did not encrypt this message
It’s the only email I have in my inbox rn with that red lock symbol
