Class President

Hello,
I am currently class president as a sophomore but risk losing the presidency in the upcoming election. I was wondering what it looks like to be president for only two years. Is this a bad quality to have in the eyes of an admissions office? Is it worse than not being president as all?

I suggest you win the next election.

^haha.
Admissions people at colleges understand that class president is a popularity contest. So not it doesn’t look bad.
And anyways win the election.
I’m running my own campaign for class pres now.

Thank you for the response

I would have to say that being class president for 2 years is going to look good…whether or not you continue to be class president for the next 2 years.

Don’t worry about trivial things.

Try to win, but don’t consider yourself denied from every good college in the country if you don’t. I doubt that an acceptance decision is going to be based on whether or not you were class president for 4 years.

Things like academic performance kind of count for more.
