Class Rank on Common App: Use Weighted or Unweighted?

My daughter's school uses weighted grades to rank the class and determine the valedictorian, so she feels that her "true" class rank is that weighted one. She intended to put that into the common app.

When she got her sample transcript from the school, it includes two class ranks, both unweighted and weighted. She is top 1% in the weighted rank, but her unweighted rank is #1.

So I am looking for opinions, should she put the weighted or unweighted rank on the single spot for class rank in common app?

I have no idea, but tbh the unweighted rank seems so much more impressive

Both of those look impressive…with weighted, though, it might better reflect the fact that she gets the highest grades in the most demanding classes. Maybe ask her counselor if you can include both on her transcript, and put down one or the other for the common app.
