So i was wondering whether or not this would effect someone's application. IF your school only does ranks up to top 20% and on the common ap you put top 20%, would colleges assume your not in the top 10%? I know the question is sorta weird but any input would be highly appreciated!</p>

<p>I believe the LOR that your counselor sends, as well as the school report, accounts your school’s ranking system. (The school report shows how rankings are done at your HS)
If you are in the top 10%, you could maybe ask your counselor to mention that in his/her letter of recommendation.</p>
<p>Colleges will be made aware of your school’s ranking system on the school profile and Secondary School Report.</p>
