<p>I am familiar with the jesuit foundation of Santa Clara University and Boston College. My understanding is that ND is not jesuit based. How is it different?</p>

<p>ND is run by the Congregation of Holy Cross, a different teaching Order of priests. Although similar in that they are both based on a faith based education, there are minor differences, most of which are difficult to explain without having experienced them. They are different, but are generally not too different.</p>
