Classical Studies and Pre Med

Hi! I anybody here a Classical Studies major?
Background: I took Latin for all four years of high school and I heard that medical schools really like students who major in humanities. I want to attend medical school in the future and study Obstetrics. I plan on taking all of the pre-requisite classes for med school while working on my undergrad.
My question: How intense are the Classical studies classes at UF? Do the assignments consist of 100 lines a night like my Latin teacher said and are the tests on 300 lines of translation?? I’m scared! Yeah I’m good at Latin but I don’t want to be so consumed by it that I don’t do well on my medical pre-req classes. Thanks for all the info

does anybody know anyone majoring in classical studies?? any help would be appreciated. halp. pls.

Keep in mind that if you try classical studies and don’t like it, you’re free to switch majors at UF. They expect students to change majors at least once. Try to finalize your major before you’re a junior.
