My DD (OOS) got $8,000 and I saw someone else get $10,500. Did anyone get more than that?

OOS, didn’t apply for national scholar because Clemson wasn’t son’s top choice.
Clemson offered him $18,500/year merit.

Do you mean National merit scholar or is it a different one?

Is there a way at to see merit awards if kids haven’t set up iroar?

I don’t think so. I tried.

I just got an unsubsidized loan of 5,500, that’s it.

The iRoar portal is accessible whether you’ve accepted or not.

DD (in-state) got $1500/ year (4x renewable) Clemson PACT award, which will be in addition to SC Lottery funds, and hopefully will stack with National Merit Finalist package (also $1500 per year) need to verify stackability.

(FYI: Clemson’s full-ride award called National Scholars [confusing/not related to National Merit Scholars in any way] is not by separate application/is automatic consideration for all Honors College applicants. They were all determined pretty early in the admissions cycle, and it’s offered on a “No news is bad news” basis.)

I meant Clemson’s national scholar. My son only submitted a regular application and a Lyceum application, nothing else.

Just looked. OOS DD got 8k.

S22 got OOS Tuition Scholarship for $10,500 and a Clemson University Scholarship for $500.

Did anyone get an email about update or just on iroar? Thank you!

Just out of curiosity, what scholarships did your son receive that totaled $18,500?
