Clemson Class of 2025 Admissions

Completely agree…mine applied to 14 schools (yes yes 14 cause we had no idea what this year would be like with the whole test optional thing). She heard from 12 that she got in and many of those had merit. At this point its been a crappy senior year…shes over it. We are over it. She wants to commit to give her something to look forward to and start planning. I personally think those schools who wait are gonna miss out on a lot of good potential students who are feeling similar to what mine is in that the process is too long and drawn out. Plus watching others hear back makes it worse!

Does anyone know if those who end up hearing in February still have the possibility of receiving merit?

My daughter got her acceptance a few weeks ago with merit scholarship. We are OOS, so the amount of the scholarship will be a game changer for us to understand if we can afford Clemson or not.
I’m not sure what to expect? How much were the merits scholarships like, last year?

Yes! My son did!

@Twinmomcu1997 your son heard last night?

Still no CS majors who heard? I’m hoping they release by major and that is why it is taking so long.

No last year. Got merit and admissions in February. Still waiting on this year’s admissions for my senior.

No acceptances tonight? I think this is the first week in a while. Wonder what’s going on.

Maybe they’re gearing up for an early release of all decisions? :crossed_fingers:

Has anyone been notified by the Honors College, whether you got in or not?

I definitely haven’t loved how Clemson has done their “rolling” admission process. However, each day we get closer to finding out. Hopefully only a few more weeks! Would love if they released all decisions earlier so maybe that’s a possibility.

My child was accepted EA with partial merit scholarship…We are also waiting to hear from Honors College. We have not heard anything to date. The website says notifications by Feb 15; however, I have heard that students accepted last year were notified 1-2 weeks after EA notification. So, I guess we just patiently and eagerly await. Good luck!

My child applied as a CS major. Received notification/decision Jan 7th.

You received merit information from Clemson already?

That’s not what I’ve heard, waiting as well. I was accepted back in early December with some type of merit but I think they stick to that Feb 15 deadline pretty religiously when it comes to Honors College notification.

Only that there is going to be a merit scholarship. No details yet. I believe we will get them February 14-15.

Oh okay… Thank you. I thought maybe she missed something. She was accepted a while back and her acceptance said with scholarship, we’ve been waiting to hear about it. We thought they were releasing that information in Feb.

No, last year honors acceptances were all released on Friday, February 14th. D20 was accepted Nov 3rd and received her honors acceptance on 2/14. Good luck!

Your child may have been notified of acceptance already under their RD admission plan, but no EA is available at Clemson.
