they said mid february. they also said that applying test optional wouldn’t make a difference… but it did. people with high test scores heard back months ago. its frustrating because it seems like the absolute least that colleges can do is give us a specific date to spare us from this guessing game.

I believe majority that heard back had like sat score of 1450+ with a high gpa

gotta say the magic word 
Teacher and parent here: I have two senior students who didn’t submit test scores that got in early in November. They were rockstars in a multitude of areas. I just trust that the Clemson admissions team will sift through and make sure this process is fair. They said Feb 15 so anything prior to that is a blessing! My twins are current freshmen and I have a hs senior son who applied and it waiting for a response. OOS. It’s brutal. But 2020-2021 is like no other admission cycle. Clemson isn’t playing a game with admissions. I absolutely believe they are working fervently to make this as fair as possible.

i still wonder a lot about how they chose who to accept early. as someone who definitely needs merit scholarships, it scares me to think that only the people who were accepted early will be receiving scholarships
HS senior here: I think all of us can say that this year has been one of the most stressful years in our lives period. COVID anxiety PLUS admissions anxiety is alot of stress that we have to carry on our shoulders. The best thing we can do right now is to simply pass the time while we wait, just like we have been doing since we submitted the application. The wait is almost over and we are so close, so sit back, relax, watch a show, do homework, play video games, and before we know it our decisons will be out! :))
