Hi! Is Clemson housing guaranteed only for freshman or all four years? If not all four years, how difficult is it to obtain off-campus housing…how far away? Best places?

It is my understanding that if you want housing all four years you can get it. However it is also my understanding that by junior year many students chose to live off campus. There are a lot of off campus apartment complexes some of which are like resorts with pools ect. I also think that it can be cheaper to live off campus than in the dorms. @Baxter126 may have better information on this topic that he could share with you.

Yes. @burghdad has a good answer. There is plenty of off-campus housing in various price ranges, however, this year, Clemson is opening Douthit Hills upperclassmen apartments so the percentage of students who stay on-campus should go up. They are just across from Bowman field and are very nice.
