CLEP exam

I am a HS student and was wondering whether JHU accepted credit from the CLEP exams. I was planning on taking the French and the English Composition exam.

No, they don’t accept any CLEP credit

That sucks because I wanted to start at a higher level French course. Well can I transfer credit from a CC. for french of course.

You could also take the AP or the IB HL French Exam and get credit for intro French.

The following section of the Undergraduate Student Handbook details all the sources of academic credit one can bring in to Hopkins prior to enrollment:

[Credit for Work Done Elsewhere](http://www.jhu.edu/design/oliver/1476onlinehandbook/academic_manual/credit.html)

Credit is not given for CLEP exams. Credit is awarded for specific scores on specific AP and Highler Level IB exams. Students may also transfer up to 12 credits from specific college courses offered at other colleges and universities.
