CLEP exams for HIGH SCHOOL credit??

If you're in high school, and you take and pass some CLEP exams, can you get HIGH SCHOOL credit for them (that way you can graduate high school early)?

If you are homeschooled, yes. Otherwise, I don’t know.

I’ve heard of a high school somewhere in the northeast (CT?) with it’s own CLEP testing center. Perhaps they give high school credit for CLEP.

SGP is on the right track. Those who are are homeschooled and of high school age can get high school “credit” for just studying for a CLEP exam. They don’t even have to take the exam. BUT… if they do take the exam and pass, they not only can bank the college credit, but their score report will then act as proof of their homeschool course of study. So, no, CLEP exams cannot be used to graduate from high school early. They are after all, a “college level” exam, and the college credit can only be applied/used if the tester actually goes to college.
