cliche Sport Essay, what do i do?

<p>I am very involved in my sport and i have been doing it nearly 13 years.</p>

<p>I want to write about it and how it shaped me but i dont want to sound like a generic essay. I do have other topics but this is the one i am most passionate about.</p>

<p>And i am applying to alot of colleges, some where i am being recruited, some not. So will a sports essay hurt me becuase they already knew about my passion (the schools that are recruiting me)</p>

<p>If you write it well and you're passionate, it can't hurt. Especially if you're being recruited at some of the schools. Try writing it. If you like it, continue.</p>

<p>Avoid the standard "here's how I won/lost the big event and learned that hard work pays off/how to accept defeat."</p>

<p>Write something that only you could write.</p>
