5 out of 334 at a pretty good public high school

i am already in at upitt (in-state, definitely a safety)...here's my list, opinions?

-dickinson college
-university of delaware (hrs college)
-colgate university
-washington & lee university
-university of virginia
-college of william & mary

I wouldn't particularly call it a good public high school...it's average in my book...but I'm not 100% familiar with all of the York County schools and it very well could have changed since I graduated from Hempfield (Lancaster County) in 2000.

Regardless...you are good to go at Dickinson I'd say and same with Delaware...don't know enough about the rest to give you an opinion.

BTW grats on Pitt...I'm an alum. it's a great undergraduate school!

Believe it or not, CYHS has some pretty high stats...I don't personally think of it as a stellar school (going there everyday, you'd hardly know intelligent life existed), but the profile for Central is more impressive than Dallastown's (commonly thought of as the best pubilc in York) and most of the Harrisburg-area publics.

Hempfield is such a lovely school (the campus). I've played soccer there a few times; love it!

Well..you learn something new everyday...I always was conditioned to think that Dallastown was the best public in York as well...

Hempfield's campus is nice...I grew up and my parents live not 2 miles down the road from it and I went through all of the schools in that little tiny area except for the primary center (built when I was in 6th grade)...However, be glad you aren't there...most of the kids are downright awful and elitist, great academics but awful social structure!
