<p>Hey-</p>

<p>For guys, it says to wear jazz pants during the dance audition. However, I don’t own any and all of my other schools specify that wearing shorts is ok. I don’t want to disobey their regulations but do any boys or parents of boys know how strict this rule is or if what is on the website is just suggested? I will go get jazz pants if I have to but just wanted to make sure before I do with anyone who has had experience. Thanks!</p>

<p>I wouldn’t worry, but as an MT it would be a good investment for the future!</p>

<p>My son completed auditions for MT schools without a pair of dance pants. He used black workout pants (Nike/Reebok) and shorts for all of his auditions. Even with professional auditions and 2 years in BoCo he still doesn’t wear dance pants. I don’t think it’s going to be a factor in your acceptance.</p>
