<p>on my tour, the tour guide said that you can reserve dorms with mini workout areas. Is this true?</p>
<p>New House, Mudge, and Morewood have gyms (I think Donner too) somoewhere in the dorm.</p>
<p>Are these gyms or "work out rooms", because there is a <em>big</em> difference between the two.</p>
<p>I don't know about the other dorms but New House has bikes but also in the back 3 weight equipment. They do your arms, chest, legs, etc and along with my free weights in my room I am pretty content.</p>
<p>Morewood's has two treadmills, four elipticals, 2 bikes (one reclining), and 2 stairsteppers for cardio, as well as an all-in-one weight machine and a mat on the floor for crunches and such. </p>
<p>The cardio equipment is really nice, the weight machine isn't as good as having several machines, but it is good for what it is. I'm generally happy with it, though I do head over to the UC every so often to mix it up.</p>
