<p>I heard from a friend that CMU's online admissions system was sub-par last year, I'm not sure if they've updated it or anything. </p>
<p>Does anyone know the date they display ED acceptance/rejection online? Most schools do it before Dec. 15th -- I'm hoping CMU does to.</p>
<p>If you read the notices in "where are you in the process" on their website, CMU says that they want you to receive the news the old fashioned way, snailmail, and intentionally hold posting notices online for 3-4 days to ensure you get your letter first. </p>
<p>FWIW, I searched posts in the old forums that last year and say that CMU mailed their notices in time for many people to get them on the day they said they would be out. Better than nothing, I guess, but we're always a couple of days behind everyone else.</p>

<p>I see on their MIT forum theirs acceptances were sent today (and MIT doesn't notify online or by email either).</p>
<p>I just called -- the lady said the "letters should be sent out in the next couple days"</p>

<p>CIT is the only college I've seen anyone accepted to yet. That could just be a coincidence since they're one of the larger schools.</p>
