you can apply to Haas from any college or any major.

what about as a transfer student? can we still apply to haas?

you usually need to be accepted into haas, back then i knew people who picked random majors and changed to haas but now they might be a little just a tad smarter in the process or they might not care and you just fill out a form

rexte, what about double majoring in haas? possible?

the policies might have changed but it might be possible if classes are open, you might not get priority when registering. here’s how i think it will work: you know the bureaucracy you had to deal with when you transferred, think of it times 10 at UC Berkeley and extra waiting in line for an hour while you miss class for some worker who has a degree in political science at UC Berkeley who has no clue what the process is and you have to take it to someone above their paygrade. after you get enough people to care, you might need the deans to sign off on your request and that will take time, its possible maybe but no guarantee, tougher probably when you weren’t admitted firsthand for the major, but hey its gellin when you’re in, they’re happy to help but not when you’re not
