CO-OP Housing VS Honors Housing

<p>Hi everyone,</p>

<p>I might choose cooperative housing next year rather than honors housing. I didn't mail the signed honor's housing contract yet and i'm still considering UPenn or UNC Chapel Hill for college. I have six months 'til HS graduation.</p>

<p>I've been told that an older student would be happier in a co-op than in a dorm and also co-ops offer much of the convenience of a dorm without dorm rules and with a some what more mature group of housemates.</p>

<p>What are your thoughts on Honors housing and co-op housing?</p>

<p>The question is, I think, what are people's opinions on co-op housing vs living in Andrews, Blanton or Carrothers for a student who is in his late twenties?</p>
