Coca-Cola Scholarship- 2010-2011

I don’t know if I will go to BC yet! I went to the accepted eagle day, it’s beautiful there. Do you?

My school can’t afford another school day (I’m in NJ). If we have any more, we’re losing days off of our spring break which really blows. Please don’t snow! :(

I am seriously getting so pathetic on this website. I go to all of the colleges i applied to’s forums and vomit everywhere at the chance threads, and then i come back to this thread just to see if someone posted that the list is up. AND IM SO FRUSTRATED WITH MYSELF FOR BEING SO PATHETIC.

I wish it was June and I knew where I was going and what scholarships I got and there was no more questioning…or 10 days from now where I’ll be leaving for the Bahamas with my girlfriend for my 18th birthday. :)

Haha, I don’t think it will be enough to make a snow day. Only 3-5". We can’t afford any either! :P

It’s 78 degrees here, but it’s been raining hard lately. I guess it’s better than having blizzards, but I’d love to see snow! Also, HI is so small, nothing much to do here :(

I wish the Coca Cola Foundation met their deadline as how they told us to meet ours…

I was going to go to accepted eagle day, but I’ve been there so many times I decided not to go haha but yeah I am thinking about it! All of my siblings have gone there so I feel kinda pressured lol

ughhhh i’m so ****ed they didn’t post results today. I’m pretty sure I’m going to Georgetown (since it was my number 1 choice), but i can’t afford it, and by midnight tonight, i’m supposed to submit some supplemental info to UCLA…and i was just gonna blow it off since i’m nearly 100% sure i’m going to georgetown, but like this scholarship is critical in that decision …crap looks like it’ll be along night. (wow that was a majorly run-on sentence)

Hey bluebear…hawaii is much bigger than little ole rhode island! we’re the smallest state in the United states. YOu can drive from one end to the other in under 45 minutes! lol…now that’s small.

my high school class has 95 kids in it…my town has only 10,000 people who live here…part of why I’m hoping to be able to afford ithaca…I’ve been in this small, albeit wonderful town with the same kids for 12 years now…most of the kids will move on to the local university which is about 10 mins away, but I want to really experience college, you know. I want to be on my own,and reinvent myself…

that probably sounds weird , since I love what I do , and how my life has turned out, but I want to be challenged musically finally…rather than always being the ‘big fish’ you know? It’s been awesome…but I want to learn and grow now…and that means starting somewhere fresh. That’s part of why going away to college is so important to me…

Sorry…didn’t mean to exude so much information…Kind of got carried away there…

I know what you mean HARVARD…i’m in the same boat with Ithaca…first choice…way to expensive for just my mom…best of luck to you …i’m sure you’lll do great with this scholarship.

Im going to a community college :s

J Rodriguezz , what will you be studying, have you decided yet?

We have a great CC here in RHode Island…well known for it’s nursing program and astronomy…I know, weird combo.

How about you?

I’m going to study biology. I might go to a bigger university. Like utsa. But I don’t know yet.

@JRodriguezz13

You make me feel better. I saw all of these people posting about these prestigious schools, and thought I was a low life for wanting to go to my small state university. But hey, they’ve got the best broadcast and photojournalism program in the nation, so it won’t be that bad!

Lol I know right. Haha I’m just worried cause my grades are low. :/

Your town seems big compared to mine. I have 63 in my graduation class, 2,016 in my town, and our elementary, middle, and high schools are all connected. We all go to the commons to eat lunch…its small :)

Don’t ever think a college defines you. It’s what make yourself out of what you have is what’s important. Wherever you go, if you work hard you’ll succeed. You don’t need a shiny brand name to get you to where you want to go. College is just what you make of it

You guys will both do great…as long as your happy in whatever place you choose to go to school…you’ll get the most out of it! DOn’t let anyone tell you one school is better than any other…you both obviously have a tremendous amount to offer or you wouldn’t be on here…so where ever you end up , make the most of it and you’ll do yourself proud.

JROdriguezz…biology…cool. Do you want to do research or are you using it as a jumping board maybe to medicine or what? I loved bio…one of my fav subjects in high school. I also loved physics…thinking I might want to take some quantum physics classes along with music…they say they go ‘hand and hand’ …music and science

I’m at work. What you guys doing?

I’m supposed to be studying for this math competition tomorrow and doing other scholarship apps and looking for a job this summer to help pay for college. (bad grammar, i know) But yeah, youtube and facebook instead are drawing my attention

wow Sarah…I guess we both know what it’s like to come from small towns…where are you thinking for college …it’s so beautiful where you r, it would be very hard to leave i’m sure.

My town is nice too…right on the ocean…the whole 18 miles length of our small town is all beaches…i’m lucky , I know…

I love music. Haha I also have my own professional mariachi  I want to go into medicine.and I fell in love with my biology teacher <3
