<p>When we notify the colleges, do you think we should explain the logistics of the scholarship? Or print out the email or something…?</p>

I really did not think I was going to get this. I may underestimate the power of my six EC leadership positions.

<p>And about telling your EA/ED colleges, I think I’ll let mine know. What can it hurt? Some of my awards on my application were kind of so so, and this one is ALOT better. :)</p>

<p>Does anyone know how hard it is to advance to the next round? I mean, do the 250 finalists all like… cured world hunger or something?</p>
<p>One of my friends last year who was a finalist said the 250 kids chosen are stellar ones. She said the scholarship is a very well rounded thing. Every kid at the coca cola scholars weekend was involved in everything and did everything well. They all had 33+ on their ACT (not all… but a whole lot). They were very social, cool, brilliant, athletic, service-minded people. Leadership is a big deal too, the more you do and lead, the better.</p>
<p>It’s going to be very very hard to get through. I dont expect to get through at all, but it’s worth a try!</p>

Does anyone know if all the semifinalists have been notified already?</p>
<p>I’m personally hoping none of the Southern states have received theirs, or I’m out of the running as well. I have a few friends that between us someone should have qualified though, so keeping my hopes up!
EDIT: By Southern States, I mean namely Texas :D</p>
