<p>Yeah, I’m in socal and I was notified yesterday!</p>
<p>I had no idea I would actually get to the semi stage. 71000 people applied, so dont feel bad if you arent top 2150! That’s only 3%.</p>
<p>Not that I’ll actually make it past this, but does anyone know if you must go to the weekend if you’re top 250? I have an event that weekend thats pretty important (family wedding) and I dont want to miss it. Obviously $10K changed my mind fast…</p>

<p>I received my letter in the mail today (from Virginia). To those who have received letters in the mail, was there a number on top of your name? Do you think that indicates your computer ranking or just simply the alphabetical order/regional order of which the semi-finalist letter was sent?</p>
<p>Tangent queen- I recieved a letter in the mail two days ago. I didn’t have a number on top of my name. Where is yours located in the letter?</p>
<p>It’s not on the actual letter that you take out of the thing but its on the front, where it has your name and everything addressed…like right above my name there’s a number as well. Did you see it or no?</p>

<p>My sis and I got one while my best friend didn’t get even a notification - I wish they’d give out deferral/rejection letters, it’s make life so much easier. You’d think it was the least they could do…</p>
